GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I was skeptical about going to OM. I hadn't heard of it before I went there. But I quickly made friends and was able to take desired classes with teachers who care about their subjects. High school is still high school but the people at Owings Mills made it a little better.

The best thing about OMHS is the diversity and making new friends. Finding new and fun classes makes it 5x times better. The worst part is when the lower classes3ss things up for the upper classes because they are still learning about high-school.

Food needs to be upgraded but overall my years were good to me! I met wonderful friends and some great teachers that helped me along my four year journey.

This is an unrated school. It is currently one of the best high school in Maryland. Most of the presented figures is more than 10 years old. A lot of positive things are happening to this school.

What happened to this school? At one time it had arguably the best athletic department in the county, students were coming in as weaklings and by the time they graduated they were going to college to play D1 sports. There was a dedicated PTA, Police Officer, and guidance counseling team. Then some t...

I am a student at OMHS and I will be a junior coming onto the 2014-2015 school year. People think our school is filled with gangs or a bunch of people that don't know what they are doing. But in all honesty, that is not the case. OMHS is progressing and I can see that. In every school, there WILL be...
