GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My school was ok, it places a bigger emphasis on music rather then sport which is wonderful sense there Football team is a horrible team loose almost every game they play.

Like any other school Oyster Bay High School has its flaws, but overall I feel it is very good. We have several amazing teachers with curriculum that pushes students to become better and achieve more for their future. Our new fine arts wing adds to the school's beauty and history.

Most teachers are kind and caring. You need to attend extra help in most classes in order to do well. Gonna miss it.

From studying Mandarin to Math, she is enjoying her time with her fellow students and friends. It is not an overwhelmingly large school, so she can’t get easily “lost in...

I live in East Norwich and I have both of my boys at Oyster Bay High School. The teachers are on point and very responsive. The location and the school itself is beautiful. Very happy here.
