GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Westwood is a good well coordinated school district with great opportunities. The school offers many career programs for students to contribute with.

My high school experience was very very good for me, I learned so much about myself and I met some life long friends. I learned that not everybody that comes into your life is going to stay and that is okay. I had some of the most amazing teachers that were truly there for me and that I knew cared so much about me. I also got to play for some of the best coaches I have ever got to play for and I had a second family from playing my sports that I know will always be there for me and that I can count on.

This school is the WORST. The academics here are really bad. I have no idea how to do math. It really is a tragedy.

I think Westwood is a great school. I went to this school all 12years and my kids have gone their all 12 years. 2013 ,was a bad year, but 2014 has been great and will continue being great. From Teachers, Coaches, Administration, i will put our school up against any other school in our area.

He switched to another school to be closer to family in need to help in any way he could. Now that he is back, a few weeks before graduation he is deni...
