GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I've had a wonderful time with the arts department, I'm enjoying my time in the Symphonic Orchestra as well as the choir. I took guitar class the second semester of my freshman year and It was a wonderful course by Dr. Powell and I took Ceramics with Mr. Yokimcus. The math department has fantastic teachers like Mrs. Chao and Mr. Ghoering, they're inspirations to me for pursuing my STEM major.

High School will be filled of good and bad things regardless if you pay for a private school or regular public. In Palm Springs High School it is filled with plenty great memories. Some highlights are senior activities that are awaiting the most of us, spirit weeks and rallies. The school rallies gives all grade levels a chance to come together and have fun. But with the positives there will always be negatives. People come and people go, to put it simple. that is not a PSHS fault, its a HS experience. The only thing I would like to see change is in clubs. There are few and the ones we have are very quite, they need to promote themselves better.

My experience with Palm Springs High School has been good so far, originally I had went to this school for the sports and opportunities I would get more attention or recognition, but the students are nice and the teachers show that they care well some of them do not all but a good 80 percent of them do.

Exceptional school with numerous academic, athletic, and artistic opportunities for for students. Tremendous staff always willing to work with students and families. If you are not active in your child’s life this is not the school for you. This is a school for people with goals and parents willing...

I have not found anything good about this school. My grandsons is a freshmen this year and has not been doing good at all since he got here. There has been no help from the teachers, no emails back that I have requested regarding his work, rude attitudes from teachers and office staff and just lacki...

The advanced programs are great! Small classes with teachers who care and will prepare you for the rigors of college. No need for private schools , my three children all got into top Universities from PSHS!

This school is a good school for academics and sports, but many teachers do not care for their job. One teacher in particular, T. Little, is a very bad teacher. She is a senior teacher and tries to talk her kids out of going to collage and my councilors will support her in the task, she has no contr...
