Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Palmyra High has many wonderful teachers that will go beyond to help their students. They have many chances to take some college classes with professors from college around the area.

Our schools a variety of clubs for students to participate in. These clubs are well organized with a school sponsor to oversee the groups. Students can participate in fun activities that the sponsor organizes. The administration is very supportive of students at our school and work hard to make sure that all students learn and succeed.

My favorite experiences at this school is being involved in our band. I play clarinet and have played it since fifth grade until this very day. We are able to play different types within the band including: pep band at basketball games, concert band where we play a Winter and Spring concert for the parents, and marching band where we are able to compete against other schools in our district. I would defiantly choose to go to this school again.
