GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

One of the best parts about Paramus High School is that the budget for the arts was never cut in order to better facilitate the sports and stem program as many other schools do, considering the arts to be not as important. However I believe there should be some changes to some members of staff and their attitudes towards students and differing beliefs.

Paramus High is a school that has lots of people, a nice atmosphere, and a big area for u to explore. A majority of the teachers are really great and it has a lot of classes and electives for you to choose from.

There wasn't much of a community feel there, but the staff there made it worthwhile. The sports culture definitely declined throughout the years and there was a lot less freedom for school spirit.

I am a student at PHS and I can definitely say that you can get a lot of out this school if you work hard and are motivated! PHS really tries to push the boundaries of those who want to excel. However, it does not do much to help the "bottom" of the class, who I think feel stupid compared to their h...
