GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Even though there was a pandemic I was able to go to my auto class and keep going. This school offers some great trades classes such as plumbing, auto, culinary and marketing. For the students that are not college bound they offer great classes to get kids excited to try a trade. The teachers are really engaged in what they are teaching the students and my friends and I enjoyed going to the classes. There are a lot of sports offered.

If you get a in school suspension you have to listen to a "coach" eat pounds of food and drink a half gallon of milk and he just sits there and tells you to not go on your phone and if you are doing work then you have to face your laptop towards him and smell all the food he eats and reportedly kids have puked just listening to him chew his food with his mouth open.

Let me put it this way. In Maine there are not many schools who can offer what this school can, but don't expect the silver platter and spoon. Sure, we have a tech school and we have sister schools from out of country. However this school's community and deliverance hasn't changed. Classmates are either two-faced smokers or their too focused on their academics to talk to you. It's the type of school that makes you appreciate it only being 4 years of utter hell. :)
