GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My over all experience was kinda good and not bad. The parents have way to much involvement with students and not for the good, they invade students personal lives when they are not their children. The academics were pretty good and it's relatively easy to pass all four grades.

I love the stuff I learned I will use after I graduate at Chesapeake some of the teachers for kind of disrespectful some more really rude a lot of homophobic people a lot of hatred in my school couldn't stand for it a lot of anxiety water pressure for the students at the school and for me to I would say what I also gained at school was anxiety oppression and I'm afraid of disappointing people because so much pressure that teachers put on you at that school

CHS has good teachers, admin, and sports programs. Our parents are not too involved but that's just how we like it. The library is way old and needs a revamp.

CHS exceeded our expectations - both children were involved in CHS athletics, both took AP classes along with dual enrollment at AACC, and both were well prepared for 4-year university. First is now an engineer (graduated from University of Maryland) and second is a data analyst (graduated from Ohio...

This school is horrible. The boys fight in the bathrooms every single day and the staff do nothing about it. Kids have drugs in there and they don’t care. Even though all this is recorded nothing is done.
