GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The worst parts I would say is the campus being on a hill and that there are so many stairs and they are very steep. A couple worse things was finding out we had a predator as a teacher for almost 4 years. A couple of other things was that some of the teachers had favoritism and if you weren't the favorite then you were definitely not gonna get picked for things. Some of the best things was some teachers did above and beyond for their students.

My experience overall at pearl city highschool is not to bad. I found my passion of filming and met many amazing people.

My experiences throughout my years in Pearl City High School has been great. The best part of my experience is learning how to be a student and an adult at the same time. My school views students as an adult as they have to be responsible with their own things. In addition, my school gives students like me great opportunities that other schools are not able to offer. These opportunities are being able to shadow, certifications, and much more.

PCHS is a good school academically because they have some of the best teachers however the school needs a new principal. Reason : He does not know how to community well with parents, he's very arrogant and also he never showed up to support any sports events unless a certain sport win. That is terri...

I'm going to focus on the athletic department, especially the girls volleyball team. There's a lot of favoritism on the Varsity team, Coach Bryan needs to go, while the team was half way through the season, he was already looking for his team for next year. The result of that, almost lost every game...

This school does not deal with bullying effectively. The administration don't call the parents asap when anything happens in the school. I believe this school needs new leadership. There's also a lot of favoritism in the Girls Volleyball team. (Eg. The coaches let their favorites in to play first an...

I'm not sure where to start, there are so many things this school needs improvement on. I'll just start with some of the teachers: They're sooo slow on updating the students grades, do'nt respond when we (parents) email them. Have attitudes when we finally get to speak with them. It's ridiculous. On...
