GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Hopewell Valley Central High School is an all-around good school. The extremely experienced and knowledgeable teachers help to create a community of students that are not only well-educated, but also kind and considerate towards others. Hopewell is also located in a great area, allowing students to really connect with the community.

I like the variety of classes offered at my high school, and I have been able to learn new things in various subject areas. I also enjoy the extracurriculars. I have participated in four different sports and had a great time in each. I also go to all the plays and musicals to watch my friend in them, and they are always so much fun.

This is the worst academic institution I have ever experienced. This school honestly takes children’s wills to live. Never been unhappier.

We have had a great experience here! We considered private schools but a friend had a daughter at the high school and they raved about it. So happy we choose Hoval! You get the great academics of a private school without the cost, and the extracurricular benefits of a larger school than most private...
