GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Best part was that I had trasferred to this school because my prior one had a counselor that did not want to help me apply to college and basically told me I would do nothing with my life. At Pennsauken the counselor Terrence McStravick helped me apply for schools and walked me through the process. I now attend Rutgers Camden and have the highest merit scholarship available. Its amazing how much can be accomplished when a teacher cares about you.

I would like to see more clubs, and even more diverse classes such as more AP or Honors Courses. I think Pennsauken Highschool was okay, but I felt I had a disadvantage due to lack of AP or diversity of classes.

Eight out of ten kids I taught, were at least 3 years below grade level, and 9 out of 10 spent all day playing on $1000...

Pennsauken High School has really changed over the past 5 years. My freshman year of Highschool was a big change, they added Trades to the High School which will be optional to students. These Trades consist of Electrical, JROTC, Automotive Tech, Carpentry, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Fire and Emerg...
