Kelly Lane Middle School’s stated mission is to help sixth through eighth grade students become resilient, lifelong learners and critical thinkers who are ready to accept any challenge. The Pflugerville school’s mascot, the knight, reminds students to be fearless in their pursuits. Core classes adhere to the high academic standards of Pflugerville Independent School District. Students explore their interests in electives such as art, choir, band and drama. Advancement Via Individual Determination, or AVID, is a college-preparation course that teaches students important skills like notetaking and organization. Participating students visit local college campuses to get a feel for university life. In Kickstart Kids, a program founded by Chuck Norris, students learn positive values such as honesty, loyalty and respect with martial arts skills. Kelly Lane Middle School students have competed in essay contests, advanced to the state science fair, and been accepted to competitive summer academies at the University of Texas. Proceeds from the theater department’s annual event benefit a charity. By the time they’re ready to graduate from eighth grade, the knights of Kelly Lane Middle School are well-prepared for any adventure that may lie ahead.

My teachers try but I have one teacher who has accused me of stealing some...

I have to consistently just check in. I also have not seen communication on meet and greets, but possibly due to...

If something happens in the school they don’t tell you the schools more caught up in enforcing the dress code than actually teaching kids stuff they hold back the entire class if one student is slow or misbehaving and they give too many warnings for behavior that people think it’s a joke
