The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

When it came to PSJA Thomas Jefferson, the main thing I liked was the teachers. The teachers have been the highlight of the school as many of them were very helpful and supportive. The other thing I liked was how they allow you to finish college before your senior year so you can have free time in the semesters to come. Other than that, there is not much more. No sports was a big issue for me.

I think that it's good school because of all the opportunities you can get. I was able to get a certificate from a college as a junior which can help you a lot to stand out in order to get scholarship and different job opportunities. The teacher is really nice too they will help you with almost about anything, same goes for the counselors.

It's a very good school to go to if you wanna have more opportunities. It's a school that solely focuses into academics but if you're a person that wants to have a STEM career this is the place. In the case of sports this is not a good school for that thy have gym but that's about it they don't compete unless you go to another school in the district.
