Administration is disingenuous. More interested in reputation than students. Great academics. Great teachers. Buyer beware. Parent community is similarly very elitist.

My son started his 3rd Grade in GFS and now he is a middle schooler. We are very satisfied with the school in all aspects. GFS was great to get its students and families involved as part of the community. The academic design is challenging but not stressful. Teachers did a wonderful job in nurturing the students to grow not only mentally but physically and emotionally. Plenty of activities and clubs. My son was always happy with his school friends. We appreciate the Quaker culture and feel the five values benefits the students from insider and in long term. The school is renovating some of its facilities and we'd like to see this change that will make school life more convenient.

GFS is a very hypocritical school. There were many DEI lessons where I sat there and thought "how is this even being implemented into our school?" It wasn't. I've had good experiences with other students, and with many of the faculty working there, but the administration is very willing to throw things under the rug and ignore issues. I've had it happen to many people I knew. It's sad that GFS claims that they will take action on an issue when 80% of the time they don't.
