GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Tech Freire is a college prep high school in the city of brotherly love. Even though the school is in the city of brotherly love its not much love inside of the school when it comes to students but the staff are always there. Many of the staff members are always there with open arms no matter if it's academics or just to have a meaningful conversation. One of the downsides of Tech Freire is the location from the student perspective walking outside of school and seeing people laid out on the ground and using very foul language with each other is very displeasing. This current school year we have yonder pouches and this was kind of a positive thing to do so students don't spend their whole school day on their phones and get their work done in a mannerly time to maintain passing grades. One change that I would like to see is more of student voices being listened to. Student voices usually go unheard when it comes to changes to the school that could help benefit the learning process.

The overall school is not bad, but it's just the students their that sometimes makes learning difficult. The school is still new, so there is much to learn. Staff are normally polite and easy-going. Technology is sometimes crappy. The school really just need sometime to adjust.

When I first got there, I was excited to check out what they had in store. However, it wasn't I thought it was. This school was regualr academics school with tech elements to it. The school notice that it was a problem too, so they are trying their hardest to change it for the better.

This school isn’t the best, it doesn’t have the best curriculum or safety but the community is everything. The teachers CARE about what the students go through , they CARE about health and pace. Their better than half the teachers form good schools. So tech may not be the best but the community is b...
