I had a pretty decent experience here. I made a lot of really cool friends, but also had a lot of conflicts. Some of the teachers and staff here are the best I have ever known while others make me question why they even keep the job.

I believe that the performing arts area of Maryvale High School is one of the best in the PXU district !

Maryvale Highschool for me is ok however the students behavior and their way of handling it is unacceptable. I feel like for the regular trouble makers only would get a warning but nothing else.

The staff are okay. The Principal who has been there for 10 years, does not speak English correctly. We felt that he has mistreated some of my daughters best teachers. Two actually transfered. The athletic and academics of Maryvale is sad. The athletic director has hired her own personal friends to coach and the coaches do not care if the teams win or lose(and the lose a lot) The students are not pushed for higher education and the teachers do not seem to care if the kids do well or not....
