St. John Bosco Catholic School is known for educating students, kindergarten through eighth grade, with a quality curriculum that integrates the values of a faith-based learning experience. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood on the eastern side of the Ahwatukee community, St. John Bosco is one of the only K-8 Catholic schools in the area. Founded in 2001, it is fully accredited by Western Catholic Education Association and North Central Association with daily classes that include religion, literature, math, science and the arts. Students, grades five through eight, can participate in competitive sports such as baseball, basketball, volleyball, softball and flag football through the Christian Youth Athletics Association (CYAA). The established sports program has yielded eight Regional Champions and even won the prestigious “Most Outstanding Sportsmanship Award”, presented by the CYAA. St. John Bosco is admissions and tuition based, each year welcoming about 400 students into the school. Although the school caters to students of Catholic faith, enrollment is open to children from all faith traditions. St. John Bosco also boasts nurturing, faith-based preschool and pre-kindergarten programs. The community at St. John Bosco is extremely active and dedicated, with family and friends logging more than 18,000 volunteer service hours on campus annually. The annual gala, Dad’s Club and PTO all contribute significantly to raising funds for the school. This money supports programs, curriculum and campus updates that make St. John Bosco the renowned and thriving community for which it is known.

Professional staff members that are Christ centered. The campus is always kept clean and nice. Children are well-behaved. Right now I have a son in pre-k and I am amazed at the quality of education he is getting at such a young age, especially compared to public school. He has a detailed schedule they go through each day of the week and they continually inform us as to what he is doing and learning. I couldn't be happier choosing this school.

Our son just finished Pre-K and is moving into Kindergarten. The teachers were great, very supportive and helped expand my son's interests. Strong values is something that may be difficult to find oustide of the private system. We are looking forward to our daughter joining as well.

Our family loves St. John Bosco. I have one daughter in Kindergarten and one in Pre-K. We love the faith based environment with small class sizes, caring and dedicated teachers, and excellent academics. The loving and supportive environment is perfect for my girls.

My kids have been at St. John Bosco for two years now (currently grades 3 and K), and I only wish we had landed here sooner. Compared to other schools we've been at (a mix of private and public), SJB feels so much more like a community. In a perfect world I would love for my kids to have an old fashi...

Both my kids attend this school and they love it! They love their teachers, their loving principal, and friends they’ve made over the years. As a parent, I love the safety of the campus and their curriculum of educating the whole child with God as a center piece.
