GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The teachers are so caring and genuinely want to see their students succeed. The administration, school board, and district office workers earn a ridiculous salary and don't seem to care about the students or teachers. I would like to see a complaint system implemented, and I would like students to be able to vote for board members and be able to vote to remove board members.

this school has little to no diversity it scares me being around a bunch of racist white kids this school for sure needs more i do not recommend it if you want your kid to have a culture.

As an exchange student, I came to Piedmont High for my senior year, and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Since it is a small school, there is a big sense of community. The teachers are motivated and the facilities are very clean and good. It is a school with a lot of higher-upper to upper class students, and everyone at the school is pretty friendly. Since it is a small school, though, it does not offer all classes (it's missing some AP classes or an IB course), but it is still a very good high school.

Both my daughters have had good to great experiences at the school. They're both quirky and don't follow the crowd but have made friends and found wonderful teachers that support them. Every department has great teachers who work hard and care deeply. The Mandarin teacher is a treasure. The journali...

I have had two daughters attend Piedmont schools: kindergarten through high. Both loved & thrived in elementary. The elder was miserable in and socially withdrew from middle and high, and is now happy & thriving elsewhere. The second liked middle, but may not have been developing into her best self....

My experience at this school has been overall very negative. It caused me to become very stressed. This has deprived me of sleep and free time. When I was playing a sport I would get home, work on homework till carpool time. Then I would get back a few hours later and work from then till around 11 o...
