GreatSchools Rating

Source: GreatSchools
GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

We moved from a larger school to LPCA thinking it would be a great opportunity for more 1:1 learning for my children. What we found was the school is way behind and the teachers are not skilled in the subjects they are assigned to teach, in fact my son had to show the teacher how to complete a math...

Major disciplinary issues are allowed in this school. Children are allowed to talk in class when teachers are talking ruining study for the kids who actually care about school. Fights break out on the regular with no disciplinary action. Teachers don't care, administration doesn't care, and this res...

The school goes from k-12 so if you have kids with varying ages that can be convenient. The negatives, I had 2 daughters attend this campus, 1 in 5t...

I was employed here and, as I am preparing to become a parent myself, I was very attentive to how things are run. Granted the children were safe and fully accounted for. However, the academics are strongly lacking. My children would not go to a school like this.
