GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Plymouth North has fantastic resources for those willing to work hard enough to find them. North provides students with a diverse and accommodating atmosphere. The biggest change I would make would be relocating funds. I think some sports teams get more attention than others and some departments receive more money than others. I think that each aspect of North should be treated equally.

Plymouth North is an average school, maybe a little below average. The school culture is not great, but maybe that's because I don't play sports. The music program only works in your favor if it can control you. The kids in the music program stay after school, sometimes until 8 pm for 4-5 days a week. Sometimes weekends too. How are kids supposed to have a job, have other interests? It's just absurd to me.

The students are disrespectful. The admin doesn't help with the disrespect and honestly make it worse.

A gorgeous brand new facility, makes me wish I was going there instead of being the parent. PNHS does not get the recognition it deserves compared to other school districts. Supt. Maestas has done amazing things for this school and the students. A quality education, even while encumbered by Common C...

The new building is a big plus. It's like night and day compared to the old one, which was literally crumbling under my feet. New teachers have been phased in and are really making a difference, especially in the music and tech departments. However, the administration is still abysmal. They like to...
