GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

When choosing a school my parents were excited to have me at armstrong. Over the years things have only gone down hill. The school had become so anal about everything. Administration took away everything fun. They don't let PSEO kids into the media center anymore. They took away the senior lounge. They took away choosing your study hall. They treat PSEO kids like grown adults when we are still children. It is unfair for our people who were are supposed to trust treating us like we are scary adults. I want to be seen as an equal and treated as a student.

At Robbinsdale Armstrong High School safety is an alarming thing. We have many technical errors that can harm students and faculty, and our school does not seem to be very open about these problems. On the other hand, I'm very impressed with our engaging and hands-on science department working hard to get students involved and successful.

All 4 of my children graduated from Armstrong High School and went to great universities. All 4 adult children are making 6 figures and all 4 love their jobs. They also stay in touch with their high school friends. They were active in sports and extra curricular activities. We hosted a foreign excha...

I submitted the December 2019 review. Since then, this high school, school district, administrators and teachers have repeatedly let our family and community down. This school is poorly run, lacks cohesive vision and fails over and over again to identify let a lone achieve excellence.

We have had a great experience at Armstrong High School. Great community, great teachers and administration, great athletic and arts programs. Wonderful, diverse, challenging and representative culture preparing our kids to thrive in the world as we know it...as it is.

Overall I found the academics at this High School to be very mediocre. The student body doesn't show respect for the teachers, so in turn the teachers show no respect towards the students - which creates a terrible environment for learning.
