The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

McDaniel has allowed me to find my passions and be supported no matter what. There have been some teachers I dislike or do not work with me but I know that not all the teachers are bad.

Honestly, McDaniel is a pretty diverse and chill school. There is a lot of club involvement and community building and we have a lot of school spirit. My only bad experience is drama within friend groups but overall everyone's nice. Sports are fun as well because we stay positive about losses and wins.

The best parts of Mcdaniel would have to be the space itself, the whole school is well ventilated and the areas are quite modern and just have that new feel to them. One thing I love about the classrooms is that each room has their own thermometer that you can control so it isn't like one set temperature for every room because some rooms are definitely colder or hotter than others. A thing I don't like about Mcdaniel would be our athletes, I'm not sure what's causing us to lack in that area though, whether it's the players or the coaches I'm not sure. I would like the see change in the cafeteria, the line for lunch is way too long and it takes forever to get food.
honestly i really like this school so far. ive only been here a year but it seems really nice so far, contrary to what the data says. it seems to be out of date, at the very least the name is, as its now mcdaniel. the teachers are great, the building is super nice and new, its kept fairly clean, and...
I don't know where this information is being pulled from but it is significantly out of date. The school's name is no longer Madison but McDaniel. It's a great school, great teachers and a significant number of AP classes offered. Also, this seems to rank based on test scores. The problem is that te...
I will point out a few things that I know about Madison (now McDaniel), followed by a few things that I think about Madison. First, I know that the graduation rate is 80% despite the reading proficiency rate being 50% and the math proficiency rate being 30%. I know that only 65% of students attend c...
