Engaged, caring administration and teachers. The resources and student support are excellent and I'm impressed by the level of communication with students and families.

the academics are very strong, but some of the teachers are sub par. it is a school where there are a lot of wealthy families, so troublemakers sometimes get away with far too much, because their parents are donors to the school.

great for mixed arts and academics. college prep equal to catlin gabel or other private highschools in portland/oregon. best middle school available in portland for sure.

Both of my kids are flourishing at Northwest Academy. They are bright, creative kids who love the academic rigor and the fact that their classmates are as invested in class discussions as they are. That said, they aren't buried under a mound of homework because they use their school time effectively...

Amazing school! Northwest Academy transformed my sons’ lives. Because of the small class size and school, students develop close relationships with the faculty.
