GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Amazing teachers, high academic performance, super responsive administration, and small, close-knit community. Great school culture emphasizing curiosity, compassion, and integrity. Two kids at Emerson, both started in Kindergarten, now one in 3rd and one in 5th. No school is perfect, but I have no complaints I'd see fit to write about on Niche.

Perhaps it was a good school 3 years ago. Sadly, the positive discipline model did nothing to curb bullying on a constant basis. Very disappointed. Going back to private school.

Great teachers that enjoy teaching and aren't in it for a paycheck. Project based learning. Students as a class decide on a subject to study with lots of field study and local business support.

My daughter’s teacher is dedicated, skilled, and caring - in a word, exceptional. And I don’t think she’s an outlier! All the other teachers I’ve had the chance to interact wi...

We were very disappointed with our experience at Emerson. Our AuDHD child was treated like an inconvenience and was ostracized for typical, age appropriate behaviors. Administration was cold, unfriendly, and often unhelpful. All in all, Emerson did not feel like the inclusive community it claims to...
