GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Grant has definitely been a highschool, there have been classes and teachers that I have loved others that I have not.

Overall I had a pretty good experience at grant high school. Probably my favorites parts of grant would be their drama, dance and choir programs. I would have like to be challenged a bit more academically all my classes were fairly easy.

I've had an excellent time at Grant High School, and in my time there I've grown so much as a person and a student. I love the interior design, the privacy the multi-gender bathrooms offer, the warm and welcoming environment created by the teachers, and if I had the ability to do so, I wouldn't change anything about it. If someone were to ask me to recommend a high school in Portland, I would definitely choose Grant.

I can't lie, a vast majority of people here love it. The only problem is the administration who are disrespectful to the students and the teachers. Most of the teachers are great and I am getting a great education here. I saw a lot of reviews saying that Grant is horrible, but I have to disagree. By...

Absolutely awful. After two years of putting up with it, we moved. Our entire family wishes we transferred earlier.

Excellent for my incoming Junior. Incoming Freshman sister will be well accommodated by her instruction here too. They are college-bound, ready to learn and participate thanks to good grooming through elementary and middle-school experiences. GHS furthers this mission.
