100% would recommend this school to anyone who lives in the area! They have a brand new building now which looks amazing! Clean, safe and staff is just so amazing !

This school has a fabulous principal who listens to parents and her community. Children are very lucky to have this school in their neighborhood. While the building itself has its challenges, the atmosphere is one where learning is the number one priority.

I DO NOT recommend this school! The teachers break their backs for the kids which is a good thing but the office staff overshadows that with lack of accountability and disregard for the kids mental and emotional well being by minimizing school bullying and not "dealing" with important issues that ar...

Our family has had such a positive experience at Wilkes! The Principal, teachers, secretaries and staff go above and beyond to make the enviroment educational, safe, supportive, and welcoming. We came from a private school and we are so glad we made the change to public school!
