The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Churchland High School is one of three high schools in the Portsmouth area. The staff can overall be questionable at times but there are many teachers who make it all worth it.

The best part was the sports, pretty good all around. The students made the school bad honestly. They were just to chaotic.

My 4 years at Churchland High School were a breeze. The Counselors were all very supportive in our journey Into College. The school is definitely one big family!!

Some hardly attend class themselves or leave before the school year is finished. We had a case of severe bulky ng against my daughter. Including cyber...

My child had to take her PSAT exam in this auditorium in an uncomfortable chair (not a...

The school is great. My kids feel safe, cared for, and well educated. The teachers work hard and so does the principal.
