GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

If you are a good student who is able to do your work quietly, you will be fine here. However, if you are anything but "normal" you will find an unwelcome and hostile environment, with administration that will not do anything.

It's technically my first year in post falls high school however I am a senior so I guess it's an ok school. Nothing really bad about it nothing truely great.

I just am not a fan of high school, but over all the experience is ok. I do enjoy being there and the teacher connections I made.

One student graduated PFHS with just one class remaining for her A...

There were some pretty good programs, such as honors, AP, and Dual Credit courses--if it wasn't for my success in this school, I wouldn't be in the Naval Nuclear Power program right now--but there really is a lack of focus on pushing students to succeed. Frankly, I...

It's really just an average school. As someone else has mentioned I do really wish they spent less attention on the school's athletics and more on the academics, as some teachers really should not be teaching (but of course we have some of the best teams in the state) There are a few teachers that g...
