After many years of observing the Heights school from the outside looking in, my children were finally accepted. My kids have progressed substantially in their academics and religion. thank you to the heights.

My experience at the Heights School has been positive overall. The academics are rigorous and fully prepare you for college in all ways possible. The teachers make the classes hard and fun at the same time allowing for both preparation for college and life while also allowing for time to joke around and interact with the students. Another exceedingly positive thing about The Heights is that the classes are not too big and the you can go up to any teacher and ask for help and they will always go out of their way to provide help to you taking time out of their day to help you understand. I would say that I had very little bad experiences but if I had to choose I would say that The Heights does not put a huge enough emphasis on sports as it is a mainly academically focused school. I would like to see the emphasis on sports changed other than that I have greatly valued and enjoyed my experience in the five years that I have attended The Heights and believe it to be amazing as it is.

The Heights provides a rigorous but engaging education for all its students. I have gone to the school since my third grade year and the friendships I have made over the years have much to do with the wholesome culture that The Heights promotes.

I attended from 8th grade through 12th grade and graduated in 2003. I continue to value both the education and mentorship that I received while I was there. The atmosphere of the all male student body could certainly be challenging at times with regular navigation of immature personalities, while al...

High school has some good teachers, but most should not be there. Some have unrealistic expectations on the students - assigning college level material, and an outrageous amount of work that is really overwhelming and quite boring. All classes are teacher-centered and in the form of lectures (many n...

My son entered The Heights at Eighth Grade. We had just returned from a posting overseas, so he was excited about attending and meeting more boys his age. We were excited too. But any positive feelings about The Heights evaporated when he matriculated to the upper school. He was bullied physically a...
