Cockrell, a native Texan with deep ties to Prosper and the Prosper Independent School District. The fenced-in, modern playground is filled with different areas of climbing equipment, swings, and a shaded walkway and pavilion. In addition to highly ranked academics, the school offers music, art, and physical education to all students. The fifth-grade students can participate in an honors choir. Students also participate in academic competitions with the University Interscholastic League, which include chess, storytelling, spelling, and creative writing, among other categories. At Cockrell Elementary, opportunities are where excellence becomes a habit.

We've had an amazing experience at this school The Teachers and staff are so great with the kids and the parents. The dyslexia program they had for my son was incredible.

This school has been wonderful. The teachers are amazing and so kind. The only down fall is some of the students are not kind, but that is a reflection of parenting not the school. My kids have beenvery happy here.
