Named after one of the first volunteers for the Prosper Fire Department in 1952, 1st Lt. in World War II and a Prosper High School graduate and American Airlines Stewardess, Ralph and Mary Lynn Boyer are remembered through their faithful community work. Ralph and Mary Lynn Boyer Elementary School is a school in the Prosper Independent School District that opened in 2018. To attend Boyer Elementary, students must live within the school boundaries in either Celina or Prosper. The curriculum at this public school is based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills standards. Teachers focus on the academic readiness and the social-emotional development of their students. Boyer Elementary serves students in prekindergarten through fifth grade. There are special education and dyslexia programs for students who qualify. The school also has a Hope Squad that promotes kindness and anti-bullying. There are many events throughout the school year such as Red Ribbon Week and the annual Read-a-Thon fundraiser. Boyer Elementary has themed days throughout the year for students to participate in, like spirit day, where students and staff dress in school colors and t-shirts. These campus events and themed days help engage students and promote a sense of community. There is a school choir and other activities students participate in. There is an active Parent Teacher Organization at Boyer Elementary that supports the needs of staff and students. We love Boyer! The teachers, principal, and all the staff make our son feel welcomed and safe. I appreciate the constant communication and activities they offer for parents to be involved.

When I need to ask questions or have my child go to the nurse because he wasn’t feeling good over the weekend the the lady at the front desk has always just seemed like she never cared.
