GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Personally, there is a lack of discipline and obvious parts of faculty and administration are very subpar. If there could be an absolute reset with administration that knows what they're doing as far as disciplinary aspects, that would be amazing.

The small rural area creates a tight knit community, with activities that reflect local interests such as agriculture. The school holds basic resources with room to develop their educational program.

I like the open environment. I would like to change the weighted grades. The experience so far has been great. As a sophomore I'm already eligible for AP courses which will help me hopefully get into my college of my dreams.

I enjoyed my time at Solanco, but there were always good and bad things to deal with as I was never an outgoing, popular kid. Solanco isn't terrible and if students put effort into their work, they will get a good education. We had two valedictorians in a row go to MIT and lots of other good schools...

Horrible. An absolute waste of four years. I would've been better off taking my chances as a drop-out. In fact a high school diploma from solanco is the equivalent of dropping out in the real world. All the abuse solanco has left on me will affect my life forever. Do your kids the greatest favor and...

Go to a school board meeting or two. Quite often included in there are students that do not meet the typical criteria I have grown accustomed to elsewhere. I think it is easy to disparage a school and it's effort when I only see a school as reflective of the community it represents. I disagree with...
