The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

School has great classes and college prep. Lots of offered AP's and college now classes (affiliated with CUNY York, so College Now available in courses like Psy, CS, Business, etc.) but the administration and resources are not best. School food is poor, lack of funds.

The experience here has been quite different to what I expected when I first enrolled. The population is around 500 and the class size is around 120, so everyone knows each other. I don't get to meet new or different people, its all the same. So it really isn't the high school experience compared to other larger high schools. However, the education is good, the math teacher here is loved by everyone.

The academics are great, especially if you are a student looking to pursue a career in the STEM field. However, one negative aspect of the school is the building due to its small size.
Student body is strong and the leadership is always weak in this school. Need a better faculty team, but the lack of effective leadership make this issue linger on.
This school is one of he best schools. It is small so mostly everyone knows each other, and you are forced to do well; there is hardly anyone who will not succeed, unless they are set on failing. Another thing: they offer many AP Tests, which really help in college. -Previous student
Great school, the principal is the best. She gets things done and makes you feel like you're important. This is hard to get at a big school. MOST of the teachers are dedicated and love to help with exceptions of a few.
