GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Quincy high has been a good place to go through high school, with great teachers that helped me understand the topics of classes easily. the worst parts of my experience has been with certain members of the administration and the nurses office, as both can be hard to deal with and very bureaucratic, as well as safety as there has been various threats to the school and fights in school, sometimes in the hallways in which case other students who are otherwise uninvolved have became involved.

I have enjoyed Quincy HighSchool for the most part. I love all of the vocational programs and course choices that the school offers. I believe Quincy High School could do better with safety, there have been multiple threats made against the school and multiple fights happen. Overall, I enjoy attending Quincy High School, but there are changes that should be made.

The GPA system was weird, disincentivizing taking cool courses because they weren't weighted as highly. This was a problem because the school was a vocational tech school with a lot of these programs, but students had to sacrifice GPA to look into these programs.

The school is beautiful and the staff friendly and helpful however my honor student was bullied and harassed by her freshman english teacher. Humiliated in front of peers who spoke out about it. I demanded a meeting and the dean was more interested in protecting the teacher. Filled out a bully repor...

I am writing this review as a former student at Quincy High School. This school was under construction as I was attending but there were minimal distractions throughout the school year. Teachers were very attentive and were willing to go out of their way to help were needed. The academics were great...

I am giving this review as a parent of a freshman at Quincy High School who is enrolled in both honors and advanced classes. I am impressed by the facility, academics and athletic programs. The facility is only 4 years old. The facility is clean and well maintained by the staff and the students. The...

Great School. I have been in Quincy Public Schools for two years now. I came to Quincy High School in March of 2013. The Tech Classes are great. I am in Information Tech and Graphic and Visual Designs. The Special Education program is great with a department head who wants every student to succeed,...
