GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall my high school experience has been a great one, I have no complaints. The counselors, the teachers and the administration have been very helpful in getting me to the next level in my life. Th best experience has been playing varsity soccer from Freshman to Senior year along side my teammates. There haven't really been any worse parts. The only change I would like to see would be the school promoting more school togetherness.

I'm a senior at the high school. I thinks it's a decent school. I've had good teachers and meet some interesting people

In my experience at Red Oak High School, there were a lot of ups and downs, along with a plethora of problems to be fixed. For example, the administration at the school is very inconsistent in terms of policy and enforcement. We had an infamous "no hoodie" policy, and for the most part, it was enforced. However, many teachers and APs did not enforce such policies. This was apparent in many forms throughout my year of attending, and I truly hope they find a more effective solution to this than "more rules."

ROHS is awful and it is shameful to see a once decent school deteriorate into what it is now. All three of my kids have attended the school. My youngest is currently a student. The education she is receiving is noticeably worse than anything my older children experienced. Parents that value a top no...

Red Oak ISD is a joke and anyone who doesn't agree either doesn't have plans for their child to further their education after high school or enjoys seeing their tax dollars pay for the superintendents house along with many other non district related things. I graduated from Red Oak K-12 and now my k...

I loved the education my two children received at Red Oak High School. I think a good education is the responsibility of not only the school, however, but the parents as well. This puts parents in the responsibile role of finding outside help if it is needed to supplement a child's learning, and if...
