GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Depending on what path you go on for junior and senior year, specifically with the IB classes route, will heavily change the quality of the academics at this school. Unfortunately, this school is severely underserved but the student body makes up for it, RHS is extremely diverse.

Attending Renton High School was something new for me when I moved. I am used to people being open to talking to others. At Renton if you don't know anyone you are basically alone. No one is open to talking to others or anyone at all. We are given great opportunities that no one likes to take because they are used to them. I was presented with these opportunities and excited to explore them. All of our clubs are ran by students that are creative and openly minded. We are constantly challenged to be the best student we can be. Our teacher motivates us to become anything we would like to be in life. Your life is your decision.

the best part is what we call multi-cultural week. where different cultures come together to put on a performance.
