GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The school offers some good teachers and an abundance of ap classes but struggles to provide education to students in non-advanced classes. Stem classes are often very easy and low level which could also be improved on.

Very nice teachers and staff, however the high school experience feels more like a private education than public.

Rhinebeck High School is very inclusive to everyone of all kinds. There are very apparent cliques and the political viewpoints of many of the teachers is very transparent.

Rhinebeck is a good public school. It is small and everyone knows each other. The school is responsive to students needs and teachers are accessible. The general school population is motivated. Many of the teachers have been teaching a long time and seem to be going through the motions of teaching....
