GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The large majority of teachers are amazing to work with, and I've learned so much. The administration can be hard to work with, sometimes not accepting accommodations when it comes to absences, and some of the counseling staff has been more focused on college readiness than the enjoyment of high school.

Hanford is a really acedemics and music based school. However, the sports program is really bad. I would like to see the music program get morefunding, as we do better than most of the sports teams.

The teachers were great. The classes were challenging, but they helped me get college ready. The teachers were great and administration was also good.

It's a great highschool because the staff cares about the students and they all make an effort for the kids.

The counselors really seem to care about the success of the students. School is located adjacent to Washington State University, tri-cities and students can earn college credit through the running start program.
