GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Armstrong high school is an okay school. It really needs a renovation, because the ceilings are falling apart, the bathrooms are really old school so short stalls. They have rats and birds living all throughout the walls of the school.

I think I would be better if more people knew the potential we have there instead of dismissing it because it predominately African American

My experience at Armstrong was filled with a lot of high and lows. The start of my school year i hated going to school because it was different from my other school. The way the school is setup the student are given school materials that are out of date or written on by past students. The best thing their is the support of the teachers because they know what the students go through out side of school.

Armstrong High School is full of caring teachers and students who are willing and want to learn, unfortunately, there are always a few students, who make it bad, for the school as a whole. What would really make the school better, is to just put the kids who are disrespectful, violent and ignorant b...

I wouldn't have expected to meet such warm, loving, caring people in such a violent place. I've gotten use to it and learned to avoid the drama, violence, peer pres...

This school is the absolute WORST school I have ever been to. Its dirty, bugs crawl all through the school, and the children are so disrespectful and rude. I will always downgrade this school because it is just that bad. The teachers don't care, and the principal doesn't do anything about it. There...
