GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I liked the people at RULH High School. There are many good people to be friends with and work with. I do not like the lack of clubs and groups for technology and related group types. It would be a good type of extra curricular group to add and would be a good way to educate about that area of science.

At this school, there's a great amount of clubs and activities to get into that are helpful for the community and students. These include DECA, FCCLA, FFA, Spanish Club, Band, Choir, and Leo Club. Most of the time, you would find at least one student that is a part of at least one club. The most popular would have to be FFA, about half of the students are enrolled in FFA at our school. And my opinion, it'd be the most fun club to be a part of. You don't even have to be interested in farming or animals to have fun in this class, it's just a great organization with a variety of things to do.

The teachers at this school are amazing. Of course, there's one or two teachers that make high school a bit more difficult, but that's just out of a students opinion. All of these teachers are very knowledgable and area always around to help you when you need it. Even when a teacher doesn't teach a specific subject, you can ask a history teacher about an algebra problem and get help.

The RULH school district may have a sub standard educational program and it could use a little work but working with the teachers and students I found that teachers aren't interested with just the pay check, if any thing they deserve a raise. The students are the main problem with the school their i...

This is an aging staff very burnt out in their profession and only interested in a paycheck. The curriculum is anitquated and the treatment of students is substandard. The students and families who do well, would do even better anywhere else but have no point of comparison. With about three exceptio...
