GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Old colony is a tight knit community where you can be challenged academically while learning a trade.

I think Old Colony was the best thing for me. The class size was small so everyone was acknowledged, there are a lot of vocational shops to choose from and the shop teachers are very knowledgeable. I got to make friends with people from other towns that I never would have met if I hadn't gone there. Not only did I make friends with other students but with my teachers, they genuinely seem to care about each students and what to see us succeed to our full potential.

Really enjoyed the two weeks of shop and two weeks academics. Staff and teachers are great. The atmosphere was always great as well. Teachers are always available if you need help with anything as well.

My son started freshman year and I was very apprehensive about him starting public school for the very first time and to my surprise he has adjusted very well. The teachers have been wonderful and are always there to help. Very glad with the decision we made.
