Richard Montgomery offers a lot of good academics and Id recommend this public school to anybody. My worst experience about this school is the bathroom policy, half the bathrooms are closed throughout the day to prevent student from skipping class in there, but its just a major inconvenience for all other students who want to use a bathroom

Throughout my past three years at Richard Montgomery, I have felt included and apart of the school. I enjoy the diversity in the school and the amount of clubs they include, they make the process of making and maintaining a club incredibly easy. This gives students the ability to be creative and obtain leadership roles. However, I wish there were more class bonding activities. For example, having competitions or field days where classes vs. eachother. They do a good job of that with Hoco Hallways but other than that there's not much.

Its a very diverse school and has an amazing community. But racial issues can arise occasionally. Drugs are an issue too.

We had three children go through RM and while all our kids had different strengths and weaknesses, the school was a good experience for all of them. All three could have done the IB program but were happier taking the same rigorous AP classes that are offered at all schools around the county. They f...
