GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

B.f. terry high school is in a relatively poor family area- when i attended the school there were always multiple fights and a huge riot. The school does not really prep students for college, i know a number of my peers who did not even know about FAFSA, TAFSA, or how to apply to college/ scholarships. Most kids who graduate from here end up with a dead end life due to not being set up correctly.

Terry offers some of the best opportunities for college class offerings thought the years with a great support system from our CTE/CCMR counselor. However, the administration system has proven to be quite frustrating to deal with especially with correcting absences and biased treatment.

The best parts that I've seen in Terry high school are SOME of the teachers and how amazing the coaches are, they helped push me to do better and I'll always remember then for how much they've helped me. There are a good amount of classes to choose from. The bad parts are how the students at the school hardly have any respect for those around them and the staff has gotten a bit more strict (which is a good thing). I would love for some of the teachers to change because some of them grade unfairly; an example would be the time me and my friend were working together on an assignment and he got a lower grade than me, and we both had the same answers. Other than that the school is great, oh and one more thing... we didn't have a prograd, that kinda sucked :/.
