Independence High School in Downtown Roswell lives up to its name, offering students a variety of instruction methods to catch up on credits, graduate early or experience a nontraditional learning environment. This “school of choice,” made up of students from other area schools, has a smaller student body, between 200-300 students, with smaller class sizes and “blended” schedules that allow qualified students to combine online instruction with classroom instruction. Students learn at their own pace with one-on-one attention from teachers. Students who have gotten behind in their studies can catch up in this environment, while other students can have an opportunity to learn at a faster pace and graduate early.

Independence High School is one of the most helpful schools I've ever been to. Independence is a school of honor and they care so much for you to graduate on time or to even atleast graduate.

I would say that my high school prepared me for college to some degree. I think I got a taste of what the real world looks like. The academics were fine, and I learned what I needed to know so that is what matters.

Since Independence is an alternative school, too many kids flow in and out of it, defeating the purpose of having any true extracurricular activities.

Fulton County School's best kept secret! A school who lives it's mission of "success for all students". My child was just about to give up on school until I learned about Independence. The Principal, teachers and staff are very supportive. I proud to say my child will graduate in December!

Rude, arrogant, combative, condescending and not interested in helping my child at all....just there for the paycheck and free vacations.....not to mention the no excuse for missing class even if yo...
