GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

At first glance El Camino just looks like an average public school, but when you look closer you'll find that it has a lot of really cool programs that help prepare students for future careers with AP classes and specialized electives. The sports teams aren't the best at times and there are a few teachers that will get on your nerves as is with every school, but overall it's a solid school to learn at.

El Camino was a great high school and pushed me towards my passion of making music. It has a wonderful band program that I was a part of for all four years that I was there. I learned how to play a new instrument while I was there. I made a few close friends and my current boyfriend went to school there as well. Even if I don't keep in contact with some people, I met a lot of wonderful people that I know will go on to lead wonderful lives and do great things for the world.

It used to be a really good high school until the middle of my tenure there. It kind of went downhill because there was too many students being able to enroll. I feel like my high school did a decent job in terms of teaching, but there are too many students in the seats.

No communication from this school's admin team. The principal Ms. Wilson only cares about a select few children's wellbeing. She will not communicate with you when incidents happen regarding your child even after "investigations" are completed. Vice principals will claim they can't do anything witho...

EC is one of the great school. It provided a lots of opportunities for a students. As a senior, I am in medical program and it’s very helpful for my future career.

My child completed freshman year at EC and it was a great experience. My family can attest to the difference between EC and another high school down by the river for which another family member attended and graduated from; and EC is currently a winner in comparison. The block 4X4 schedule was someth...

I partially wish I went to another school during my high school career during Junior and Senior year due to the lack of opportunities at this school now, the lack of communication now, the sometimes insane homework loads (Freshman and Sophmore Year), and the overall student body vibe (all four years...
