I believe that the school would mostly talk about going to college, but did not specify how to do so. In addition, they lacked the resources needed in order to obtain proper finical aid, and understand how to use FASFA and other applications.

My experience with the school for the most part has been good. There are spots of the school that are quite frankly horrible, the security guards are more like quasi-students and the facilities aren't the best but on the flipside the teachers are some of the greatest people and resources that I have had the pleasure of meeting, working with and being taught under.

Sheldon High School was an overall alright school, there were fights often, but during the 2023-2024 school year, there was a drastic decrease in fights. I felt generally safe, and the education was good depending on which teacher was assigned, most of the issues came from the student body rather than the school itself.

My child is learning an extended amount in each course he's in. He wants to strive to the best of this ability. The teachers are supportive, the counselors' are always available, and the staff are responsive to the needs and concerns of both student and parent(s).
