Great administrators treats students as their own, food is okay very decent, some teachers go out of their way to help students understand the curriculum.

The teachers are mostly nice and are usually willing to help but to an extent. They're not pushovers when it comes to things like late work or missing assignments. Its easy to make friendships with the staff. The students can be annoying though

South Lake has a very welcome back and family spirit . The staff is wonderful. They are very helpful and have a sense of wanting every student to succeed. South Lake offers a handful of Advanced Placement courses to challenge yourself also. There are great extracurricular activities to choose from as well. The school overall is a wonderful place to learn and to be at for your high school experience.

It saddens me to see the decline at this school while others in the area have continued to grow and attract families. As a former employee of South Lake Schools, I can assure you that all of the negative reviews of the current administration is very true. The administration made an average of $100,000 (+) a year. The teachers union worked hand-in-hand with administrators to create a united front to the community---...

The issue isn't merely school of choice it is that the teachers/administrators do not know how to deal with the diversity at this school. It's "ok" for certain students to use the "N" word and refer to other students as "crackers" and the adults who hear it do nothing about it, unacceptable. Be prep...
