GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

One thing I admire greatly about Central Senior High School is the relationship between students and teachers. There are a few exceptional teachers that have impacted so many different students in positive ways. However, the social environment at Central needs work. Currently the atmosphere feels unsafe, loud, and sporadic.

I think that going to Central Senior High School is definitely an experience. There has been times where I questioned why I decided to come to this school, but this school does keep up with its education benefits and its good reputation with education. Although some teachers may not teach well, some do and it made my Highschool experience easier and better.

Central Senior High School is a very open place for students to show their interests and show what they think. I really enjoyed all the classes that were offered. The teachers really made me feel like I was included.

Algebra 2 Accelerated felt like what would happen if you lost all of your money. No matter how much time I would put in to studying,...

The students are allowed to dress horribly, bullies are allowed free reign of the school, kids gamble during study hall and no one says anything to them.
