GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I've been attending Salem Academy since the 6th grade and now I'm in my final year. There has been many changes during my time here. This school has set me up in enjoying playing sport to making amazing relationship with my peers and teachers. I'm ready to apply to college because of the mission statement Salem Academy has held for us.

The campus is a little small for the student population, but the academic curriculum is very good. They prepare students for going to college on a very high scale. It might seem taxing to the students but in the long run, the method that is used is very effective. The students get a lot more assistance than you can get in at a normal high school.

I really appreciate all the opportunities this school has given me 6-12th grade. Although a small school, there is so much to get involved in. Every teacher will know each student by name and wants to see all their students succeed.

This is hands-down the best school in Salem. Overall, I'd say it has a private school feel, and its small size means kids can feel comfortable quickly. Academics are above average in terms of rigor, and teachers are responsive for the most part. Yes, there is a relatively high degree of discipline a...
