Great faculty and facilities, but has a few faults. The atmosphere isn't always the best, but it's a really good school.

The facilities are incredible, the teachers are very knowledgeable about their respective subjects (most of the time), and the student body is fairly respectful. However, it's extremely complicated competitive, the GPA inflation is crazy, and the AP class selection is fairly limited. The athletics are also decently competitive, but not as skilled as Boerne or other pseudo-6A schools.

I loved Alamo Heights it has so many opportunities one is the variety amount of clubs. There are so many athletic teams and STEM clubs that are offered to us. So many of them go to a national or state level competitions as well. Although the diversity isn't great the people are outgoing and fun.

I’m disappointed and regretful that I didn’t move eight years sooner, which was the first time I was beside myself with frustration & disgust with the nonsense that went on with the PTO & SchoolFoundation donars, as well as the below average education that my children received.
